just call me nik.

Born in 1989 in the vibrant heart of Hamburg, Altona, I'm Nordish by nature—a creative multitasker, a dedicated nerd, and a semi-pro photographer. Whether in my personal or professional life, I have a strong penchant for anything that captures my interest and sets my ADHD-brain buzzing with excitement.

I've been called quirky, headstrong, a problem solver, or just an all-around creative who can single-handedly own a project if needed, operating like a one-man agency. Honestly, I love the control this offers but much prefer collaborative teamwork, spitballing ideas and solutions with easygoing individuals without all the elbow mentality, tunnel vision or gatekeeping. Even though I am an art director by trade, i love the concept and development phase of a project way more than the actual layout and execution—the only exception to this rule being actual productions, those i love to pieces. Working closely with directors and DP's to bring my concepts and ideas to life, and if allowed be part of the production unit itself as a secondary shooter. Without my wife or kid, I would probably embrace my workaholic tendencies way to intensely as I really really love my job and work as a creative, but thanks to them, I've found a pretty good balance in life. Being a dad, a partner and still deliver ideas on a deadline. I could easily tell you so much more – but how about you just contact me, and we talk directly over what you might need me for.

Instead of more words and blah-blahs, here are 13 things to know about me that are more or less totally irrelevant.

  • I used to work as a kindergarten teacher for 2 years.

  • My granddad made his own fruit wine, stored in an air raid shelter.

  • I've collected almost 50k pins on Pinterest , and counting.

  • My desktop is the most organized thing – like in my life.

  • I'm happily married to the same woman twice.

  • I might have a slight Kickstarter problem... (according to my wife)

  • My son is named after a character from the Arthurian legend.

  • I spend more time in presentation decks than in any other program.

  • You could describe me as a high-functioning ADHD person.

  • I absolutely hate and cannot sit cross-legged.

  • I easily pick up new skills, except for languages.

  • If possible, I prefer to work in an english speaking enviroment.

  • 13 is my lucky number.
